This product is amazing at cleansing pores and removing even the most stubborn blackheads. It is probably the most effective solution for blackheads. It can even remove long-lasting 24-hour foundation, powder, and even tint with some effort. It doesn't clog pores and doesn't cause inflammation; on the contrary, it actually helps with them, although it does contain mineral oil, which is a bit concerning considering the price. It is very thick and super economical - one jar lasted me a year. However, it does require hot water to rinse off properly and doesn't emulsify well with just warm water; with cold water, it turns into a solid fat. It leaves a film, but if used with their foam cleanser, there won't be any trace of it. After washing, the skin feels incredibly smooth. It excels in its cleansing function.
In my opinion, this is the best hydrophilic oil! It has a thick and enveloping texture and does an excellent job of removing makeup. However, I must mention that cleansing balms still remove mascara better. Also, it is not very economical, but it is definitely worth it.
Before, I was using Dior oil. At first, the oily base of Kanebo was unpleasant. After a week of using it, I got used to it. I didn't notice any differences between the two steps of Kanebo and the Dior oil + Chanel cleansing milk. The second pair was more comfortable for my dry skin. It cleanses the pores well.
