Nourishing Tinted Mask - KayPro Color Mask
I did not like the mask as it does not give the promised shade, it dries out the hair, and only stains the bathtub.
The best tinted balm I have tried. The intensity of the color depends on the amount you apply to your hair - the more you apply, the brighter the color will appear. I initially chose the fuchsia shade. It is a very nice color on the hair. If you apply a little, it gives a delicate color, but if you apply more, it becomes very bright pink. However, it washes out after 1-2 times, depending on how bright it was on the hair.
I then chose the violet shade for the second time. The color is also nice. It stays on the hair longer. It completely washes out after 3-5 times, gradually fading and acquiring a pinkish tint.
I washed my hair twice with it, left it on for 15 minutes, and the color is copper. However, the color did not meet my expectations as I wanted it to be brighter and more vibrant. In terms of the results, it feels like nothing has changed from before. I give it 4 stars because my hair is very soft, easy to comb, and feels pleasant afterwards.
This is a good product, but there are some nuances.
If you are a fan of vibrant coloring, then this product is definitely for you. Fuchsia gives a more saturated, dense color similar to magenta - a mixture of pink and purple. Rose color is more transparent, a pastel pink. Both colors can be applied to blond hair if you want to change your look for 2-3 washes. In this case, I would note that for the Rose color, the base should be lighter and more even to achieve a nice result, while for Fuchsia, even a less bleached canvas will work. However, I cannot recommend the Lavender color - it is the only color out of those I have tried that does not apply evenly. Additionally, there is too much green pigment in Lavender, so I don't like how it looks when the color washes out, unlike Rose and Fuchsia, which wash out nicely, gradually losing color intensity.
I like the care effect and the smell of the mask.
The color is nice. Regarding the hair structure, I haven't quite figured out if it dries or nourishes... It says to use it once a month, but in reality, it washes off very quickly. You need to use it every other wash to maintain the color. It's not economical for long hair as the manufacturer claims. To achieve a nice dye, you need to apply a generous amount. I don't regret buying it, but I will continue searching for other brands.
I have been using this mask for a long time. I ordered different colors depending on my hair color. Now that I am a blonde, I use the silver shade. It removes the yellowish tint. Maybe it could be even better, but that would require leaving it on longer and I don't have the time. My hair looks great after using the mask, it has an attractive shine and a pleasant scent. I recommend it.
This is terrible! The color does not match what was indicated! I purchased the red color, but it turned out to be raspberry. I have never encountered such a situation with other manufacturers!
I have read many positive reviews... for what? I kept the mask on not for 3-5 minutes as stated, but for about 10-12 minutes (in the beige shade) and nothing... absolutely nothing happened. It didn't even do anything on the highlighted parts. And after using it, my hair felt like it had been highlighted, dry and damaged. Maybe bright shades give some results, but the purpose of this toning mask is not clear to me.
I tried it for the first time and I am satisfied with the result. The color is there, and it stays until the next hair wash. I am also looking forward to experiencing its nourishing effect.
I have been using this mask for over two years. With frequent use, it lasts for about 1.5 years. The uniqueness of this product lies in the fact that the color intensity gradually fades, giving you a new shade every time. This way, you don't have to visit a hairdresser and your hair is not treated with harsh chemicals. I highly recommend it, as it lasts a long time and the colors are superb.
I really liked this mask. It provides a slight tint and nourishes the skin very well.
I have tried the violet and lavender ones. Both of them apply beautifully on bleached hair.
I ordered Silver to remove the copper tint from my hair after transitioning from black (as advised by my hairdresser). Unfortunately, it completely failed to accomplish this task, even though I tried leaving it on for an hour. BUT! As a nourishing balm, it is 100% effective, and the quality of my hair after using it is excellent!
I bought the shade Chocolate.
I applied it as instructed on washed hair that was slightly dried. I rinsed it thoroughly with water, without shampoo. As I started to dry my hair, I discovered that my hair was simply greasy!!! I was shocked. I had to wash my head with shampoo again. The coloring was very weak.
I will not buy it again. Such a waste of a considerable amount of money! (((
I'm not sure what I did wrong (I washed my hair with a towel, applied a detangling mask, and left it on for 5 minutes), but the LAVENDER mask I recently used on my highlighted hair turned it blue and very unevenly.
I will try mixing it with conditioner or another nourishing mask.
Now the question is, how do I fix this? :)
I bought the lavender one to cool down my blonde hair between toning sessions. My hair is lightened to a level 9-10. After leaving it on for 10 minutes, I realized that the test strand turned violet. Therefore, I recommend leaving it on for up to 5 minutes for a cool tone, and for 10 minutes if you want to dye your hair violet.
I chose the violet color. My goal was to achieve a rich purple color. I have dark brown hair, so I initially needed to lighten it.
I apply the product for 30-40 minutes under a cap after 3-4 washes. This is longer than the instructions recommend, but I didn't notice a difference for myself. The green color hasn't completely washed out yet, but I am prepared for that.
I also like the way it takes care of my hair. After the last hair lightening, my hair is quite dry and damaged, so this mask won't bring it back to life, but at least it feels nice to touch.
I purchased the "Beige" shade mask. It has a grape scent. The nourishing mask works decently well, but there is absolutely no toning effect.
The violet shade does not remove yellow tones from lightened hair (highlighting) in 3 minutes, but it dyes it violet (after the second wash, the hair becomes a light violet color). The care is not noticeable, unlike a mask.
I have previously used the Estel newtone mask, which perfectly maintains color and provides excellent care. My hair felt like it had just been to a salon. However, I decided to switch masks because it is made by a Russian manufacturer.
I bought 3 shades: Caramel, Pastel Pink, and Chocolate. I colored my slightly outdated blonde hair.
Caramel - a light reddish shade, turned out quite natural. It lasted for about a week with daily hair washing and faded to a pleasant honey shade. After this effect, I mixed it with a shampoo for easy toning. The smell is neutral.
Pastel Pink: really delicate, not bright. It smells great, like tasty strawberries. It didn't last long, had to use it every time I washed my hair. Fades into rose gold.
Chocolate: very warm, closer to a rich chestnut-dark-red shade. It took hold strongly - after the first hair wash and mask application, the shade hardly changed. The smell is neutral.
Overall, it's an economical product - it spreads well on the hair, colors evenly, and doesn't leave an unpleasant smell.
But there's a problem: only the Caramel shade had a working dispenser.
Is this the case for everyone, or am I doing something wrong? :)
Lavender color, I didn't buy it here, but I can say that the color is green on the hair. And in some places, it has become so ingrained that even after 5 washes, the green pigment doesn't wash out.
I added pink strands to my daughter's hair. The natural shade 7 does not work without lightening (I used fuchsia, but other brighter shades may work on natural hair).
Before applying the color, I lightened a few strands. I am a professional colorist, so I did it myself for my daughter, but I don't recommend others to do it if they don't have the knowledge and experience.
The color mask lasts for 2-4 washes. After the first wash, it is not as vibrant and gradually fades. The only drawback is that when it fades, the color becomes a bit off and doesn't look great. It has a pleasant scent and provides nourishment and hydration to the hair.
The silver mask for blonde shade gives a practically unnoticeable effect, although the color in the jar is a rich violet. I kept it on for 10 minutes.
I used this product on my highlighted hair after a week of using Glori's violet toner (my natural color is light ash blonde). It removed the dullness from my hair and refreshed the remaining violet tones slightly. It also got rid of the grayness that the previous toner left behind. However, I don't think it will work on just bleached strands. I left it on for around 30 minutes. While it was on my hair, I didn't feel anything, but after rinsing it out, there was a slight burning sensation, similar to what you would feel after using ammonia-based hair dye. Overall, I don't think the pink color is worth the money.
Great mask. Everything that was claimed by the manufacturer is delivered. And the scent is also very pleasant.
I really liked it! Surprisingly fast delivery.
My goal was to achieve a beautiful color between dyeing sessions, specifically strawberry blonde with a hint of pink. I used the Fuchsia shade on my blonde hair, mixed with my Matrix Biolage conditioner to make it last longer and be more cost-effective. I didn't use the Lavender shade on its own because my hair is quite long. I am satisfied with the result, as the color turned out amazing. It truly tones like a dye, but also fades quickly. The key is to distribute it as evenly as possible. I don't bother with brushes or combs, I just apply it like a conditioner, even on the roots. I leave it on for about 10 minutes, just like a regular conditioner.
I applied the Copper Mask to my copper red 7.44 KayPro SuperKay hair because the color faded and looked dull after three weeks of coloring. I left the mask on my hair for 30-40 minutes. I am satisfied with the result. The slightly grown-out roots also colored well. I purchased the mask based on my hairdresser's recommendation.
The scent is pleasant. I kept it for 15 minutes and added some ginger.
Fuchsia. I didn't buy it here, but I really liked it! It didn't lighten my hair to white, but it covered my pale peach color nicely. It washes out completely (which is great), and the shade lasts for about 4 washes. I kept the mask on for a long time, around 50 minutes, without diluting it.
I purchased the purple one. It is not convenient to apply it to the hair, as it tends to have different levels of purple shade in different areas. It is impossible to apply it with a comb on freshly bleached hair (from black to white) when the hair is wet. However, I really liked its scent. It leaves the hair soft. It washes out quickly.
I recently dyed my hair from red to blonde, but over time, an orange tint started to show up. To combat this, I decided to try using a silver-toned mask along with Fanola No-Orange Shampoo. Overall, I must say that it worked quite well as a hair care routine, and I am pleased with the results.
I have been reading reviews and I don't understand why there are so many negatives. This mask is wonderful, and I want to point out that it is not a tonic and you shouldn't expect long-lasting results from it. This mask is designed to maintain color vibrancy. I chose the "Intense Copper" shade for myself, as my hair color is light chestnut with a hint of red (not natural, a result of transitioning from black). I want to say that after using this balm, my color transformed and became bright and vibrant, exactly what I was looking for. I give it a 5+ for its coloring properties and a 5- as a hair balm.
I tried the copper shade. It fades after 2-3 washes and doesn't provide much moisture or care for the hair. It gives a similar effect to a regular "Toner", but it washes out quickly. The color appears vibrant on pre-colored hair.
Based on the reviews, I thought that this product wouldn't add any color at all. However, I decided to order it based on my hairdresser's recommendation. Surprisingly, the mask actually added a red tint, even though my hair was chestnut brown. It also didn't wash out after just 5 minutes, but rather stayed on for about 40-50 minutes. The only thing to note is that it shouldn't be applied to the roots, as it can stain the scalp a raspberry color.
I purchased the violet shade, my ends are lightened while my roots are dark chestnut. The ends turned out a beautiful violet color, while the roots just had a hint of violet. However, I left it on my hair for about 60 minutes (not 3-5 as indicated on the bottle), and the bright color fades quite quickly. The shade remains, so I would touch up the ends every week to maintain the intense color. My hair feels smooth and pleasant to the touch after use.
I liked the mask, but it is designed for lightened hair, it won't give a saturated color on dark hair.
I am writing for the second time already. This is the best tinting mask. However, there are many negative reviews because you don't know how to use it correctly. It is intended for bleached hair. The whiter the hair, the more intense the color and shade. On natural hair, it will slightly shimmer with the desired shade in the sunlight. It is not a coloring mask or a toner... It is completely useless for dark hair. I have used three bottles of different colors. I am not ordering it now because the smell irritates me. The scent of this mask is overpowering. And it lasts for a long time. If it accidentally gets on the roots, you need to wash your hair again. And there's no guarantee that it won't make the hair greasy. In short, buy it for maintaining the shade, matching tone, or if you want to experiment on blondes.
The shade Caramel dyed my hair in an orange color! However, I didn't notice any difference in the condition of my hair.
Horrible!!!! Waste of money!! Useless mask! Bought it for the first and last time!! Didn't do anything except smell. They should have warned me! I was expecting to actually see (at least a hint of) the shade I chose.
Silver. I thought I had enough blonde for it to "silverize". But apparently not. It's very light, with a slight steel shade. It's only visible in bright light, in a shimmer. If you look closely. In general, if you use it constantly, like an anti-yellow balm, it's not bad. But if you want real silver, this is not the case. As for hair care, it's good. Soft, dense... Maybe I'll try purple. There's hope that it will be brighter.
