The pencil is good and of high quality, despite its hard lead. It glides smoothly on the lips like butter and does not dry them out. It smudges. I read somewhere in the reviews that shade 27 is a perfect match for Nubu Milibachi shade 7, so I decided to try it. However, it doesn't match. Well, it is also red with a hint of blue and even has a raspberry undertone, just like shade 7, but the pencil is lighter. The lipstick darkens as it dries, but the pencil doesn't. The differences are not very obvious and not immediately noticeable, but there is approximately a one-tone difference. The brush is too soft to blend anything properly. I don't see the point of buying this series for long-lasting lipsticks, as the pencil is not long-lasting.
The pencil is excellent! It holds up very well, even under glosses. However, Chanel No. 68 is better; this one gives a "tattoo effect" overall. ;-)
