Not very effective for fine hair, it doesn't hold curls well, and if you apply too much, everything will clump together and hang like icicles. Perhaps if you have extremely tight curls, rather than waves, the gel will remove frizz and define your curls.

I have naturally curly hair and this product is the best at tackling the task! The gel is a bit watery, but that's actually a plus, as it lasts a long time. And the volume is just out of this world, I never thought I had so much hair and they look well-groomed and moisturized.
