It cuts nails properly, but it doesn't cut skin or hangnails at all, as if it's chewing them. My first pair of clippers, which I bought in February 2018, still does an excellent job.
This nail clipper is very sharp and requires only a light pressure on the lever to trim the nails. It also has a file and a small hook for cleaning the nails, which is not shown in the photo.
