Always mix Color Touch with Color Touch emulsions. The mixing ratio is 1:2, for example, 30 ml of color + 60 ml of emulsion. Mix in a bowl or applicator.

I have been ordering the color 9/16 with a 4% oxidant for my light, blond hair for a very long time. I believe that 1.9% does a slightly worse job in coloring (toning) some gray hair. After dyeing my hair, I use hair masks and oil, so I cannot confirm that my hair is dried out.
