I don't know how it would work for newborns; maybe something lighter would be better. We have combination skin, with some dry areas. I recommend this cream for cold weather because the price is pleasing.

It's a pity that it's not suitable as an everyday day cream because of its greasy shine, but when it comes to soothing and protecting, nothing compares to it! Honestly, this cream is amazing! My baby is 5 months old, so I immediately got the Weleda balm, just to have something natural, without any chemical smells. It didn't help! And there were so many positive reviews :(

It provides excellent protection for the skin in winter and moisturizes it while also hiding any flakiness (apply it to the skin 15-20 minutes before going outside). Sometimes in the winter, I also apply the cream to my hands in freezing temperatures, and it effectively protects them from dryness, tightness, cold, and wind. It has a pleasant scent and a thick texture, but it does not leave any greasy residue. I highly recommend it not only for children but also for adults!
