At the moment, this is my favorite mascara (that's why 4 stars), but it has a long list of drawbacks. I bought it for 1280 hryvnias, and now it costs 1612 hryvnias.

1. The mascara really transforms the lashes. It lengthens them, makes them more voluminous, and the makeup looks respectable with it.
2. It is somewhat dry, making it difficult to apply on the first try. And on the second application, it starts to clump the lashes together. So, you need to separate them.
3. The brush is not very convenient in the sense that mascara accumulates at its tip, making it easy to smudge the eyelid.
4. The biggest downside is that it flakes off. Even if you are at home, without wind, water, and other factors, it starts flaking off literally after an hour. You need to regularly shake off clumps of mascara, which is unacceptable for elite cosmetics!
5. It is indeed waterproof, it doesn't smudge. BUT IT FLAKES OFF.

For me, this is a complete disappointment in Chanel's quality. I don't understand how they can sell cosmetics with noticeable flaws at such a price. But I really like the effect it gives.

My husband gave me this mascara as a gift, and I'm shocked that it's so terrible for the price. First, I want to mention its undeniable plus - it is very black, like charcoal. That's cool. But if you accidentally smudge your upper or lower eyelid with it, your whole makeup is ruined because it's impossible to wipe off. It smears and you turn into a panda! I didn't notice any significant volume, it just creates a strong drama on the eyes. It may be suitable for intense evening makeup, but for the day, it's too much. You end up looking like a market vendor)))) In short, this mascara is not worth the money. There are plenty of cheaper products with better results.

I have purchased this mascara about 10 times, both in waterproof and regular versions. Each time, it's a mystery whether it will be thick and oily or liquid and dry. The first option suits me because I have thin and medium-length lashes; I need volume but not length. The second option will only coat each lash separately, without giving volume or length. As a result, this mascara is sometimes the best in the world, but other times it feels like a waste of money.

The mascara is absolutely wonderful. The brush is slightly rougher than shown in the photo (which surprised me a lot). It applies beautifully and does not flake off. Buy it - you won't regret it.

I agree with the previous comment: this mascara is fantastic! I wouldn't trade it for any other mascara. It satisfies me completely: it lengthens, adds volume, and doesn't smudge.
