Guerlain Homme Intense Eau de Parfum

One year after the successful launch of Guerlain Homme, the Guerlain fashion house released an enhanced version of the beloved fragrance. The updated scent became richer, more vibrant, and stronger than its predecessor, although its composition of notes remained largely unchanged.

The composition begins with the rather sharp accords of blue mint and rhubarb, which are favorably highlighted and softened by an increased dose of rum combined with the floral notes of geranium. The final accord features the woody aromas of Egyptian vetiver, patchouli leaves, and Virginian cedar.

The rectangular bottle, made of heavy, solid glass, has an attractive shape, and its color scheme (dark bottle and transparent cap) embodies the perfume's contradictory character, which combines a rough sharpness with a mysterious sweetness.
