This is just your average BB/CC cream. It's not a foundation as it's not thick enough. The coverage is light and dewy, but it leaves a sticky layer. Even with powder applied heavily, after just 2 hours, the familiar oily shine reappears on oily skin, and a few hours later, the makeup starts to melt. From this, I conclude that it would be better suited for dry skin rather than oily/combination skin. The lightest shade has a reddish undertone, so if you plan to use it on fair skin, make sure your powder is even lighter. On the positive side, I can mention that the cream does moisturize and conceal fine lines. In summary, it's good as a cream, but not as a foundation.

I would like to add that I purchased this foundation along with the Federico Mahora Blur Effect Lifting Foundation. The Lifting Foundation is half the price, but it worked perfectly for me, and I wouldn't even consider the Academie brand.

The only foundation that doesn't emphasize, but rather conceals the wrinkles under the eyes. It has a light, fluid consistency, and the shade adjusts to the skin. There is no feeling that something is applied to the face, it looks completely natural. The only downside is the price, but it is worth it. (about myself: 45 years old)

However, the Academie foundation in a glass jar provides better coverage and evens out the skin, while this one is more like a BB cream, perfect for those who have smooth skin without any blemishes or issues. The added bonus of this foundation is that it moisturizes and doesn't accentuate dry patches. Overall, it's the best of the best brands!

This foundation is of very high quality, with a lightweight texture that doesn't feel like a mask on the skin. It is the best I have ever tried.
