I used the aloe gel from the Israeli brand "Health and Beauty" that is presented here. The composition is not 100% aloe, as it contains added water and preservatives. Now, I want to try this product and understand the difference between it and the 50ml version from the same company. The smaller tube (50ml) doesn't even show the product. I also want to know how the manufacturer guarantees the preservation of the product in larger quantities, as organic products without preservatives can quickly spoil when exposed to air.
For those who don't understand the purpose of this product: you take a good oil-based/wax-based/solid cream from handmade brands, or simply a cream that is too greasy, or even capsules of fat-soluble vitamins. Then, you mix it with the gel in your palm. This creates a moisturizing and nourishing consistency.
Benefits: This is the best option for sensitive skin, especially if it is windburned or sunburned (even special series from pharmacies like Vichy, La Roche-Posay, and Aven do not compare to this mix).
I agree with the previous reviews - this product is practically useless. I bought it for post-peeling recovery, but it doesn't provide any moisturizing effect. The gel immediately becomes sticky, very quickly... it doesn't even absorb, but somehow dries on the face. My skin still feels tight underneath, and the sensations are strange. I tried using it both alone and on thermal water, as advised by a cosmetologist, but for me, it's useless :(
Useless product.
I purchased this product specifically for moisturizing and rejuvenating my skin after exfoliation. Unfortunately, I cannot say that it moisturizes well. Yes, it relieves irritation and soothes the skin, promoting healing, but it does not provide moisture. It contains alcohol.
This gel is really good. I always use it during the post-peeling period and whenever I have any blemishes on my face - it soothes them nicely. Its moisturizing functions are not very strong - I had a previous aloe gel from a different brand, and I would apply it thickly like a mask - unfortunately, this one doesn't have that same effect. However, I will give it 5 stars (which I rarely do) for its good calming effect.
