Hermes Barenia Refillable Eau de Parfum

I tested this product using brand samples, and the scent is truly unique and intriguing. It doesn’t remind me of Ganymede, except maybe in its molecular-chemical nature. The longevity is incredible—it can even survive a wash on sweaters. Is it a synthetic aroma? Yes, but it's a fascinating kind of synthetic that makes you want to keep smelling it and figure out what makes it so unusual. Everyone perceives the scent differently; to me, it’s a tangy, slightly astringent molecular chypre. I’d call it a neo-chypre. I don’t detect any sweetness or hints of barberry, which are often mentioned in reviews. I love it because it’s finally something out of the ordinary! Like everything from Hermes, it’s incredibly stylish.
