It dries out the lips and doesn't have the same effect as the jar of petroleum jelly from this brand.
The product has a strong, unpleasant scent and doesn't last long. I didn't notice much moisturizing effect, so I had to apply a thick layer of Carmex afterwards. It does provide some shine, so it might be useful for that purpose if you use a different balm for moisture beforehand.
It provides excellent hydration, applies in a thin layer, and doesn't feel sticky. In my opinion, it's the perfect formula! I'll definitely be purchasing it again.
