In winter, skin requires special care. Exposed to the dual drying effects of the cold outdoors and artificial heat indoors, as well as harsh temperature contrasts, lack of sunlight, and insufficient exposure, skin becomes dry, irritated, and loses its tone and radiance. The journey to proper care begins in the shower with this nourishing and enveloping soap, which perfectly cleanses the skin and restores its lipid barrier. The absolute softness of yellow clay, the immediate comfort of shea and argan oils... there's no doubt, winter is a wonderful season!

Of course, there's nothing simpler than lathering up, as it has been done since time immemorial. However, the reality is that everything matters, from setting the water temperature to drying your skin and choosing the right soap for care. Here are some usage tips:
1. Prepare your skin by wetting it with water at a comfortable temperature, but not too hot. Higher temperatures can enhance the feeling of irritation and tingling on the skin. After showering, increased evaporation of water from the skin surface can lead to immediate dehydration.
2. Wet the Oppidum soap and rub it directly onto your skin. Focus on key areas where you will be applying the soap: hands, chest, shoulders, lower back, thighs, and calves.
3. Lather the soap with your hands on your skin and spread it all over your body. Skin to skin: lathering should be done as gently as possible, without rubbing and irritation that can be caused by textile fibers.
4. Leave the soap on your skin for a few seconds. This extends its cleansing action and increases the absorption of the soap's natural glycerin by your skin. This is where the rehydrating and restorative care begins.
5. Rinse with clean water, not too hot. Again, too high a temperature will reduce the care provided by your soap: it will disrupt the production of sebum necessary for moisturizing the skin and cause excessive evaporation of moisture from the skin.
6. Dry your skin by gently patting it with a soft, dry cloth. Do not rub too hard or scratch your skin with textile fibers: excessive friction removes the lipid film left on your skin by the soap. This is especially important in winter, when temperature contrasts heighten skin sensitivity.
