1. Apply a small amount of toothpaste to your toothbrush and position it at a 45-degree angle to your gum line. Ensure that half of the bristles are on the gums and the other half on the teeth. Brush your teeth using gentle, circular motions without applying too much pressure.
2. Begin brushing the outer surfaces of your teeth. Use circular motions to slowly move the brush from the molars to the front teeth and then to the molars on the opposite side.
3. Next, clean the inner surfaces of your teeth. As before, start at the back of the dental arch and use circular motions to move the brush towards the opposite molars.
4. To clean the inner surfaces of the upper and lower front teeth, hold the brush vertically and use small circular motions. For the chewing surfaces, move the brush back and forth.
5. Thoroughly clean the upper and lower molars at the end of the dental arch. Hold the brush vertically and make small circular motions around the last tooth.
