Glycerin, derived from soybean vegetable oil, is recommended for enhancing the moisturizing capacity of your creams, lotions, gels, or shampoos due to its hydrating properties. It has a thick liquid texture and can be found in a variety of cosmetic products.
Soluble in water and alcohol. Not soluble in oil. Glycerin should be added to the water phase of your formulation.
The packaging is recyclable and guaranteed to be free from phthalates and bisphenol A. The product has not been tested on animals in accordance with Cosmetic Regulation 1223/2009.

Dosage Information: Use between 1% and 5% of the total mass of your formulation.
Note: An opposite effect may occur at concentrations above 10%, especially when the product is not meant to be rinsed off (such as creams or lotions). Glycerin can dry the skin instead of moisturizing it. At concentrations above 5%, certain skin types may react negatively and experience a warming sensation.
