When selecting a developer, consider both the desired outcome and the hair structure. We recommend a mixing ratio of 1:2 – bleach to developer. Using more bleaching powder makes the treatment more aggressive than necessary. On the other hand, too much developer can result in a formula that may not be strong enough to achieve the desired result. Avoid using a 9% or 12% developer if the product is applied directly to the hairline, as this may cause scalp irritation. Mix 1 part bleaching powder with 2 parts developer. Do not use a metal bowl, as metal can react with hydrogen peroxide. Application and Processing: Apply and leave on until the desired result is achieved. Do not leave on for more than 50 minutes. Check regularly during processing. Rinse and Finish: Rinse with warm water and wash hair thoroughly. Finish with Maria Nila’s Silver Shot.
