The oriental-spicy, original unisex fragrance celebrates a sensual, refined nature, not devoid of a daring madness within. The opening notes captivate with bright, resonant chords of sharp-sweet paprika, pink pepper, and the joyful mandarin. The "heart" of the fragrance sparkles with magical notes of orchid and the fruity sweetness of plum. The enticing core of the composition is completed by a lingering, stretching incense.
The exquisite bouquet of Etat Libre D'orange Archives 69 concludes its harmony with the beauty of camphor, benzoin, musk, and the exotic sensuality of patchouli. This unique fragrance gently envelops the wearer in a mysterious haze, transforming into an exquisite chord of luxury. Seductive, multifaceted trails entice with the mystery of the unsaid and ambiguity. A perfume for those free in spirit and independent personalities with a bright and self-sufficient character.
I am thrilled with it! It's original and interesting. As mentioned below, it really is the perfect autumn scent. To me, it smells like yellowed leaves, pepper, a hint of plum, and old furniture paper. Both old (in an old building with archives, where old furniture and peeling walls) and new. And frankincense. The frankincense here is genuine church incense. Beautiful. The scent is warm, cozy, and spicy enough. It's a clean unisex scent. Although I can't quite imagine it on a man yet. It's a matter of personal taste. But I turned out to be a fan. My husband also liked it. Not my mom or friends though. So, without testing it, I probably wouldn't recommend this scent. The only downside is that I wish it lasted longer.
I would like to purchase all of the creations from Etat Libre d'Orange. They are very unique fragrances. I don't feel them on myself, I was even disappointed that they are not long-lasting, until I received a few compliments about the scent. I haven't read similar reviews on Fragrantica, but for me, they smell like a newly opened box of colored pencils. :)
