Thoroughly wet your hair with hot water. The hot water helps to open up the hair cuticles. Apply a small amount of shampoo (about the size of a teaspoon) and massage it well into your hair. You can dilute the shampoo slightly with water in your hand if desired. Rinse out the shampoo and apply conditioner or a rinse. Comb through with a wooden comb. Leave it on your hair for a few minutes. Rinse with hot water. After washing your hair, finish by rinsing with cool water.
