Horrible scent! I bought this specifically for the holidays to bring at least a hint of pine into our home since we have an artificial Christmas tree. It was nothing like what I hoped for—an awful smell, bitter, cheap, and not natural at all! It was synthetic and unpleasant, like spraying the cheapest air freshener in a public restroom. Before purchasing, make sure to find and smell it somewhere! It's not worth ordering from Europe and waiting, as you can't return it... I barely found someone to give it to. No more experiments for me.
I really liked it. I placed it in the bathroom. I was expecting the scent of pine needles, but it turned out to be much more pleasant. Up close, it smells like a pine forest, and when you enter the room, it smells like a sauna (at first, the scent reminded me of smoke, but later I recognized the woody aroma). Two sticks are enough for a small room with the doors always open - the scent spreads throughout the hallway.
