I ordered the cream on January 28th and received it on February 2nd, which is quite fast for delivery from Europe. My first impression is that the packaging is strange for Payot, with very simple printing on regular paper. Now I see that the new Payot Roselift Collagene Nuit Cream has the same simple packaging on the same paper with the same printing. It is definitely not comparable to the old design of both Roselift and Payot L'Authentique Regenerating Gold Care. The batch number on the packaging and jar (they match) indicates that the cream was produced in May 2023, and the expiration date is fine. The texture is thick and beautiful. It is very economical to use, and I think it will last at least 6 months, if not 9. The cream is marketed as both a day and night cream. However, it is only suitable for night use if you plan on applying makeup and going out during the day because it is quite greasy. It works for me, but not everyone will like its greasiness. The scent is pleasant but very strong, which is a downside for me. I apply it over the Roselift serum (which has an amazing scent that I don't want to overpower) as a standalone product, both at night and during the day when I don't plan on going out. After 5 days, I can see that my complexion has improved in color, but I don't expect to see any firming or lifting effects in such a short time. I am 48 years old, and my skin is in good condition, but I can see the first signs of aging around the jawline, and I really want to stop it from progressing. One significant drawback for me is the lack of proper description and expertise from Payot on their website. It was difficult for me to choose a skincare series, and I still have questions about whether it is necessary to use Payot creams to seal the serums. The Payot L'Authentique, for example, seems self-sufficient, and the manufacturer's description does not provide information on whether it should be paired with a cream or not.
