The Neos:lab Essence Locker Lipidcera nourishing face cream is designed for deep hydration and repair of the skin's compromised lipid barrier. The cream features a perfect ratio (40:25:25) of Ceramides (CERs) + Cholesterol (CHOL) + Fatty Acids (FAs), preventing moisture evaporation from the skin surface and maintaining the water-lipid balance in the skin. Its unique formula contains Dual-Locking granules that retain moisture in the epidermis, increasing hydration levels and enhancing the resilience of dry skin.
Active components in the formula include:
- lipids (vegan): a combination of NP-ceramides, NS-ceramides, AP-ceramides, and EOP-ceramides, similar to the skin's own lipids, forming a protective barrier against external irritants;
- filaggrin complex: helps maintain the skin's optimal nutrition level;
- hydrogenated vegetable oil: prevents moisture evaporation from the skin and helps keep it hydrated for an extended period.
This product contains small capsules with ceramides that burst upon application. It may feel a bit unusual, but I've seen somewhere that this is the correct technology for ceramides. The texture is not greasy and absorbs instantly. I have been using it for 3 weeks and I am very satisfied, especially considering the price!
