1. Apply a small amount of toothpaste to your brush and position it at a 45-degree angle to your gum line. Half of the bristles should be on the gums and the other half on the teeth. Brush your teeth using gentle, circular motions without applying excessive pressure.

3. Next, clean the inner surfaces of your teeth. Begin at the back of the dental arch and use circular motions to move the brush towards the opposite molars.
4. To clean the inner surfaces of your upper and lower front teeth, hold the brush vertically and make small circular motions. For the chewing surfaces, move the brush back and forth.
5. Thoroughly clean the upper and lower molars — the last teeth in the arch — by holding the brush vertically and using small circular motions around the last tooth.
