Always wash your hands thoroughly before handling the LadyCup! Before the first use, the LadyCup must be sterilized. To insert the LadyCup, it is recommended to try one of the following positions: sitting, squatting, kneeling, or standing. Experiment with these positions and choose the one that is most comfortable for you. To make insertion easier, you can moisten the LadyCup with water or use a water-based lubricant. Hold the LadyCup between your fingers and squeeze it. Then, using the fingers of your other hand, fold the LadyCup lengthwise in half.
Hold the LadyCup with your fingers as close to the base as possible and insert it into the vagina at a backward angle.
The correct position for the LadyCup is lower than where a tampon would be placed. After insertion, release your fingers, allowing the LadyCup to fully unfold and adhere to the vaginal walls. Run a finger around the cup's edge to ensure it has opened properly and is securely in place.
Empty the LadyCup at least once every 12 hours, depending on your menstrual flow.
Always wash your hands thoroughly before handling the LadyCup! In your chosen position (sitting, standing, etc.), locate the stem or base of the LadyCup. You can assist yourself by bearing down slightly, which will help move the LadyCup downwards. Squeeze the base of the LadyCup and gently remove it once you relax. During the first removal, it is important to stay calm and relaxed. If you have difficulty, use a finger to break the suction by separating the cup's edge from the vaginal wall. This will make it easier to remove the LadyCup.
Pour the contents of the cup into the toilet.
