Unfortunately, the gel did not work for me (I have combination skin). After the first few uses, it caused severe redness and exacerbated existing inflammations. I understand that this is due to the acid content, but perhaps the proportions are not universal. Therefore, the gel may not be suitable for everyone.
I purchased this product in Britain, and I can't say it's a very good gel. Initially, after washing my face, it would turn red (which I believe is a reaction to the salicylic acid in its composition). However, I have been using it for 2-3 weeks now, and my skin hasn't gotten worse for sure. The gel does a decent job of cleansing.
