Before applying the main coat of nail polish, you need to apply a thin base coat to the nail plate. This helps to prevent direct contact between your nails and the pigments or other chemicals in the polish. Using a wide brush, apply the polish to your nail plate in 1-2 coats.
Color 202 is a semi-transparent base with glitter and mica. Overall, I don't have a good experience with Evelyn's nail polishes. They take a very long time to dry, which is their biggest drawback. As for this specific color, the drying time is so fast that it makes it unpleasant to use. Although glitter polishes usually dry much faster than regular ones, even using a drying agent doesn't help much - you still have to wait for several hours. Now, let's talk about the color itself. It looks interesting in the bottle. I bought it as a topper because using it on its own is not an option - you have to apply several layers for it to be noticeable. So, it looks terrible on the nails. It gives them a yellowish tint, has poor shine, and overall looks quite cheap. In the photo, there is a layer of base, two layers of white camouflage from Top Face in shade 071, two layers of Evelyn's polish, and a layer of top coat. I don't know how long this multi-layered mess will last without chipping, but I will add an update to the review if it wears off. However, I do know for sure that I won't be using this polish anymore.
