  • The nail buffing block is a tool used for polishing and leveling the nail surface, as well as for giving the nails a matte finish. It is designed for both professional and amateur use. Indispensable for applying gel and acrylic nail techniques. It helps prepare the nails for application and also makes the process easier. The block helps remove any polish residue from the nail plate, smooths out any imperfections, and mattifies.

The first side of the block has the highest level of detail. It can be used to smooth the nail surface, removing imperfections such as unevenness or bumps. The subsequent sides of the block have progressively finer grit. They can be used to further smooth the nail surface, removing small scratches or irregularities. To matte the nails using the buffing block: Prepare the nails. Before use, make sure the nails are clean, dry, and not covered in polish. If you have polish on, remove it before beginning the matting process.
    - Gentle sanding – carefully move it across the nail surface. Do this in one direction with smooth movements. The goal is to dull the nail surface, but don't apply too much pressure.
    - Even matting – move the block evenly across the entire nail surface. Try not to focus on one spot to avoid gouging.
The polishing block is a versatile tool that can help prepare and ease the nail application process using gel or acrylic methods. However, remember that using it in moderation and as intended will yield the best results. It's important to moderate use and not to overuse the buffing block, as it can dull the nails. Excessive use of the polishing block may lead to weakened nails. Therefore, it is recommended to use it every few weeks to achieve a matte finish, if desired.
