The fragrance of the women's cologne Coton by Berdoues embodies a sense of freedom and lightness. Its natural freshness intertwines with the elegance of floral notes, embracing you with softness and tenderness. Coton is crafted for those who appreciate naturalness, simplicity, and purity, and for those seeking a balance between energy and tranquility.
Top notes: Tart lemon, fresh bergamot, spicy juniper, and lively aldehydes together provide a sensation of coolness and energy.
Heart notes unfold with vanilla-almond accords of heliotrope, while myrrh adds warmth and mystery to the composition, and the rich exotic ylang-ylang brings a touch of allure. Iris oil completes this floral bouquet with a deep and slightly earthy aroma.
Base notes are vanilla and musk, which lend depth to the composition, leaving a long and pleasant trail.
I received it today, and it has a very fresh, light scent—exactly what I wanted for summer and spring. It smells like freshly laundered clothes. The longevity isn't great, but it's not a perfume. However, I'm deducting a star for the packaging. The label is scuffed, and the writing is half-erased. It looks second-hand, so I wouldn't buy this as a gift.
The scent is delightful: aldehydes, a hint of vanilla, a bit of bergamot and flowers, reminiscent of freshly washed, sun-dried, and just-ironed sheets. It's very pleasant. The only downside is that it doesn't last long—it fades quickly. However, since the bottle is large, I can reapply it often and enjoy it. The label on the bottle is slightly worn because it comes without packaging or a box. I recommend trying this cologne.
