Select a color that is no more than two shades different from your current hair color. Mix the dye thoroughly. Remember to wear gloves. Start by applying the dye to the roots of your hair and leave it on for 20 minutes. Distribute the remaining dye evenly through the rest of your hair. Wait for another 10 minutes. Rinse thoroughly. Towel dry your hair. Use conditioner.
The paint is great. The shade 10/81 is beautiful. It doesn't damage the hair.
The shade "red passion" or "volcanic red" is not really red, it looks more like eggplant. If you want a bright red color, go for "Red Volcano" also from Wella, and if you prefer a deeper and darker shade, try "Rotten Cherry," I believe.
