Ta'weel — a unisex eau de parfum by Lattafa Perfumes, launched in 2023, featuring a stylish and aesthetically pleasing bottle design. This vibrant and dynamic fragrance is distinguished by its invigorating, shimmering, rich, and lingering aromatic melody. The olfactory composition masterfully blends citrus, spicy, green-herbal, and woody notes, creating an exquisite and lasting trail.
Top Note unfolds with spicy-fresh, piquant undertones of bergamot, ginger, juniper, and nutmeg.
Heart Note is enriched with refined herbal-floral accords of lavender and orange blossom.
Base Note envelops you with sensual, deep nuances of ambroxan, vetiver, leather, and patchouli.
I purchased this to try it out, but it wasn't enjoyable at all. Initially, there's a citrus scent, followed by something harshly spicy and woody, but it doesn't come together well. It reminds me of an inexpensive cologne or aftershave from the past. It doesn't have much of a lingering scent and stays close to the skin. It's definitely a masculine fragrance and not suitable for summer. Even after letting it sit for almost a month, it didn't improve.
This is a great perfume that initially seemed dry and bitter (like many perfumes do). I set it aside for a month, and to my surprise, it became fresh and beautiful. I couldn't recognize it anymore. I can smell the citrus and freshness, with a hint of light spiciness. In the dry down, it slightly reminds me of Gritti's pomelo sorento. However, upon closer inspection, it's not exactly the same, just slightly reminiscent.
