Apply a small amount of toothpaste (about the size of a pea) onto the toothbrush. Clean the teeth and gums using small circular motions.
Encourage your child to play a game: have them close their front teeth and "draw" circles on their surface with gentle pressure on the gums. The brush "dances" in circles on the chewing surface of the lower teeth from left to right, then moves to the upper jaw and "dances" from right to left. Repeat this game several times. Next, move to the inner surface of the upper teeth, then the lower teeth. Finally, clean the chewing surfaces with circular motions, also using gentle pressure. -
