It has become a tradition for Davidoff in recent years to have a mismatch between the name of the fragrance and its essence. It's completely unclear where the cold water or the ocean is in this scent. I would never have guessed that this is a flanker of Cool Water. What happened to that component, Calone 1951, which creates notes of fresh aquatics and coldness? How can a perfume be called "cold water" when its pyramid consists of warm notes of vetiver, jasmine, and hot notes of pepper? This is already boiling water, not cold.
The terrible similarity in sound between Reborn, Oceanic Edition, and Parfum Edition makes me think that these are all counterfeits from the same source.
Horrible. Just horrible.
