I bought this spray for both my hair and my daughter's. We both have wavy hair—mine is porous, while my daughter's is still baby-soft (she's 5 years old). My experience with it was negative. The scent is sweet, which is fine for children, so I don't count that as a downside. However, the day after using it, my hair felt like tangled dry coconut fiber. To say it was terrible is an understatement. It was okay on the first day, but if you don't wash your hair every morning, it's a mess. On the other hand, it worked fine on my daughter's hair, but she always sleeps with her hair braided to prevent getting hot, unlike me, who leaves mine down. So, I didn't notice any positive or negative effects on her hair.
I really liked it. I have thin wavy hair, and creams and gels weigh me down and make my hair sticky, but this spray slightly separates and defines the waves without making them sticky. It didn't create tight curls, but I didn't expect that from my waves. The only thing is that it has a very sweet scent, like raspberry/blueberry, because it's a baby product.
