I decided to try this device that everyone is talking about, and I was not disappointed. Washing my hair has become a much more pleasant procedure. My hair doesn't break, and it provides a pleasant massage to my scalp. With this brush, I can save a significant amount of shampoo as it lathers it very well, even the sulfate-free ones. I only need to use a third of the amount I usually use when washing my hair by hand (my hair is long and thin). It's unlikely that this brush will make my hair grow like Rapunzel's, but it significantly eases the washing process, and as a bonus, it provides a pleasant scalp massage. By the way, this brush can be used for a pleasant massage on other parts of the body too... everyone draws their own conclusions based on their "charming" experiences.
