This product is supposed to be a softener, but it is very watery, which makes it not very economical. I left it on for a whole 5 minutes to fully experience its effects, but the softening effect is minimal and I didn't notice any difference in my curls. My hair is not stiff, but it feels like I forgot to use conditioner after shampooing. (I shampoo the roots, use conditioner on the ends twice, and then apply conditioner separately.) The scent is reminiscent of cheap candies, so I don't recommend it. (I have natural, thin, and wavy hair.) The softening effect is a 3 out of 10, and I give it 2 stars for its ingredients.
