Qasaed Al Sultan by Lattafa Perfumes is a fragrance that melts on the skin like the kiss of an Eastern dawn. Majestic notes of spices dance with amber waves, creating an atmosphere of mystery and seduction. This eau de parfum strikes a balance between masculinity and elegance, between passion and nobility. It is like a tale of adventures and temptations that have gifted the world with new sensations.
The composition opens with salty shades of amber, complemented by juicy bergamot. At its heart lies a cunning palette of aromas: warming leather, honeyed hues adorned with spicy motifs. Against this incredible symphony, gradually emerges the warmth of vanilla, the uniqueness of patchouli, and the enchanting depth of sandalwood, intertwined with the mysterious woody scent of oud. This is not just a fragrance—it is a story told in notes, capturing your imagination and transporting you to the magical world of Eastern legends and luxury.
The fragrance really appealed to me. It's a masculine scent, I would say - brutal, even. It's hardly sweet. Definitely not unisex.
The scent is not bad, purely masculine, but the problem is that it doesn't have any sillage at all, it stays close to the skin, like a lotion after shaving.
I don't understand why this perfume is compared to D&G The One or even called a clone, but I assure you, it's not like that at all. The only thing they have in common is cardamom, that's it. The One starts with light fresh notes, but overall it's warm, caramel sweet with a tobacco base, perfect for cold autumn or winter. And of course, it's quite versatile in terms of age, it will sound good on a 20-year-old guy as well as a 40-year-old, and it's great for a party or a date. Qasaed, on the other hand, is much fresher, its scent reminds me of perfumes from the 90s and 2000s, a bit cologne-like at the beginning and very cardamom-heavy, at least on me. It's not really an evening perfume, rather a perfume for everyday wear, and it will sit well even in the office. It projects loudly, but only for the first hour, then it becomes close to the skin. It doesn't last long on the skin, around 4-6 hours, but on clothes, it lasts twice as long.
The scent is long-lasting and persistent. It's definitely a masculine fragrance, 100%.
