Closed Gate is a perfume that opens the gates to a world ruled by the subconscious. It transports your "self" to the threshold of reality, where emotions and reason blend, allowing you to experience true freedom and boundless passion. This fragrance is a compliment to bold and determined women who are unafraid to cross the boundaries of the ordinary and seek new experiences. It embodies flawless beauty and untamed energy, opening the gates to a world of limitless love, where every moment is filled with hypnotic allure and magic.
Top notes open with labdanum and Sichuan pepper. Labdanum offers a deep, resinous, and slightly sweet aroma, creating an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. Sichuan pepper brings a spicy freshness and fiery sharpness to the composition, highlighting its energy and dynamism.
The heart is woven from juicy green accords, sandalwood, and black pepper. Green notes provide the fragrance with natural freshness and lightness, evoking a sense of harmony and tranquility. Sandalwood adds softness and warmth, its woody aroma harmoniously blending with other ingredients, making the scent multifaceted. Black pepper enhances the composition's spicy accent, adding piquancy and sophistication.
Finally, your senses will encounter vanilla, labdanum, and musk. Vanilla adds a sweet, delicate touch, labdanum makes the fragrance lasting and rich, and musk increases its sensuality and depth, leaving an unforgettable trail.
I tried a sample of this product and the scent is simply awful. It smells like old musty things or rather like a dying grandmother... The only positive thing (which in this case is a big negative) is its longevity. I tried washing it off with soap, micellar water, alcohol, and even tried covering it up with aromatic oils... but it still stinks.
In general, I enjoy unusual scents, and this brand has a similar one called Voodoo chic, which also smells like vintage things, but it smells pleasant unlike this horror.
