Shampoo for Colored Hair - OGX Orchid Oil Shampoo
I tried this shampoo expecting something more, as I had read reviews about this brand. It is a regular shampoo with a thick gel-like texture, a light scent, and moderate lathering. It does its basic job of cleansing the hair, but that's about it.

I have been wanting to try products from this company for a long time. And finally, I bought them. And here comes the complete disappointment! My hair is of normal type, smooth, without any problems at all, and my scalp is not sensitive.
The first thing that confused me was the consistency of the shampoo, it is strange, super thick, and poorly lathers, it's like jelly. As soon as I start washing my hair, there is a slight itching of the skin... The hair seems poorly rinsed, they become strange to the touch. They can be combed when wet, but it feels like they are squeaking... The scalp itches with any touch, I have never experienced this before.
In general, almost all shampoos suit me, rarely is there something that is completely not for me! And this is exactly one of those cases! It's a pity for the wasted money...
I have been using Ogx shampoos for quite some time now. This one is my absolute favorite 🥰. It has a wonderful scent and lathers easily. I highly recommend it 🙂.

I bought this shampoo and conditioner from this line. I have dry skin type, and after using this product for the second time, dandruff appeared and my scalp started to itch and become greasy faster, even though I didn't have these issues before using this line.
I purchased a set consisting of shampoo and conditioner. I won't complain too much about this shampoo since I have natural, non-dyed hair. I bought it because I wanted to try the entire range of Ogx hair products. As for the positives, it smells really nice, but that's about it. It couldn't even properly moisturize my natural hair (referring to the hair conditioner), let alone dyed hair, which requires even more hydration than mine. I won't buy it again, but the experience was useful.
I really like this shampoo and have been using it for several years. My hair is dyed, medium length, and tends to get tangled. I either choose this one or another one from the same brand with Moroccan oil (blue bottle). I like to switch between them so that my hair doesn't get used to one specific product. It doesn't make my scalp itchy, which was a problem with the shampoo with argan oil from ogx as well. My hair stays clean for 2 days, I wear it down, and by the third day, it starts to look a bit dull near the roots, but there is no greasiness. I use a hair mask after dyeing my hair and then apply a leave-in conditioner from kuul to damp hair. My hair looks shiny and feels soft.
I really liked this shampoo. After using it, my hair became smooth and moisturized (which is important, especially if it's dry and colored). It stays fresh for a long time and has an incredible scent that lingers on the hair for a long time. I'm thrilled ❤️
The best thing that has happened to my hair!!!! It truly preserves the color. My hair is shiny, nourished, thicker, and has fewer split ends. It is also more manageable and doesn't become frizzy. After a month, I noticed that my hair was significantly shedding and breaking less. After two months, I even started doubting my own vision because I only lost 3-4 strands of hair after washing.
As for the downsides: if you have UNCOLORED hair, I suggest refraining from using this shampoo and considering other options from the same brand. Natural, untouched by curling irons and straighteners, hair might become heavy and lose volume until you switch shampoos.
It smells nice, that's about it. I didn't like the shampoo. My hair feels dry and stiff to the touch after using it, even with the same conditioner.
I really like this shampoo. It leaves my hair silky and moisturized! The cleanliness of my hair lasts for 2 days! I've noticed that it doesn't work for many people, but we are all different and everyone has their own hair care needs. For example, the shampoo with coconut oil from this brand doesn't work for me. My hair looks dirty after just half a day...
I purchased this product for my porous hair, and it worked perfectly. It cleanses the scalp and also the hair. Usually, after using a sulfate-free shampoo, my hair gets dirty the next day, but not with this one. Now I can confidently wash my hair in my usual routine every three days. The hair feels soft after using it, but it may not be suitable for sensitive scalps - I experienced itching.
I did not order it here. I tested it for a week because I wash my hair every other day. It has a very economical consumption and does not contain SLS. My hair becomes soft and pleasant after washing. Unlike other SLS-free shampoos I have tried, it does not have that crunchy effect that requires conditioner to comb. On the contrary, it makes my hair easier to comb and softer. The price, quality, and consumption are very good. I recommend this shampoo to girls with porous hair like mine.
This product has a pleasant scent and does a great job of cleaning. However, it has a major downside - it causes my hair to become extremely static. I purchased it along with the conditioner from the same line, but even when used separately, these products still leave my hair charged to the point where I could use it as a substitute for a balloon.
