For those with thick, porous, and coarse hair, the first wash might feel different (you might want more lather). The second wash, along with the conditioner, provides confidence that everything is working. Optionally, you can use a detangling spray. The scent is divine, like roses! The hair retains the fragrance even on the next day, which is pleasant. I enjoy shampoos with a scent. Currently, I alternate between both shampoos in my hair care routine and I am satisfied.
