At the very beginning of the composition, the light of spicy cardamom ignites. Mint and bergamot blend fire and freshness, filling the air with a majestic aura. Then the middle notes bloom, like a forest under the full moon: woody chords transform into a weave of spices, cinnamon, and cumin, intertwining with lavender and the delicate flower of an orange. They dance around your figure, like the soul of an Eastern dawn. And finally, the base notes unfold, like sunset over the horizon: vanilla and tonka beans create a sweet magical shade, sandalwood and cedar wrap you in warmth, and gray amber - the final touch, adding depth to this scent. I read the previous review about the similarity of this perfume to Alexandria ll, and I really like Alexandria. However, when I purchased this similar perfume, I was very disappointed. It is far from being similar to Alexandria. Initially and throughout, the perfume is accompanied by a very unpleasant smell, which I would not describe as leather or suede. In other words, it has a very unpleasant odor. Therefore, it is necessary to test it before purchasing.
It was interesting to try this fragrance, especially since it is compared to my favorite perfume, Xerjoff Alexandria II.
Yes, it is not a clone of Alexandria, but it has a similar direction.
The opening notes are leather and vanilla, sweet and slightly smoky.
Although oud is not mentioned, it is present in the blend, as stated on the bottle, which claims to be a blend of two ouds.
The woody notes are noticeable, of high quality and natural.
Cardamom and spices make a nice presence known.
Over time, the wood becomes more prominent, the tonka beans and spices are more pronounced, and the smell of leather becomes softer. At this stage, it is closer to Alexandria, but with more spices and less oud.
The fragrance has an oriental profile, but it is not overpowering. It is delightful and you constantly want to smell it!
Important! There are absolutely no chemical notes! The scent truly smells natural! Having tried many niche fragrances, I was surprised that such an affordable fragrance could impress me!
I won't speak about its longevity yet, as I have only had it for a couple of days. But when applied in the evening, it still faintly lingers in the morning.
The fragrance is dense and well-blended, reminiscent of the scents in shopping centers in the UAE.
In hot weather, it might be a bit heavy, but for me, it is perfect up to +25 degrees Celsius.
If you are looking for something clean, transparent, and light, this is not for you. I really like it and I will be able to alternate between this and Alexandria. I was especially impressed by the price, as it is an affordable perfume with excellent characteristics!
I will try a few more fragrances from this brand. If they are of the same quality, I will be greatly impressed.
I bought it a month ago. It was the second Lattaffa that I chose. There are not many reviews online. But since the fragrance is not modern, I assumed it was an Arabic classic. And yes! I was not mistaken. Smoky, sweet, and very long-lasting. This sweetness with a hint of smoke is somewhat intoxicating, if you will. It evokes tranquility, comfort, and serenity. The bottle is heavy and beautiful. The packaging is ordinary, without any frills. But the scent, quality, and longevity are far superior to its price. Thanks to the store for offering the opportunity to buy at such reasonable prices. And I can recommend it to women who love woody, sweet fragrances. Men will also like it, tested on my husband)).
