I don't know how it protects, but it feels terrible when applied.
I agree with the negative reviews - this sunscreen has a terrible white cast, it dries out the skin and doesn't distribute evenly. After the first use on my face, I decided to keep it for applying on other parts of my body (in Asia, any sunscreen will come in handy). I recently applied it on my legs and the horrifying feeling of dryness didn't go away for two days. I also applied it to my husband's neck, and he complained too. Both of us have naturally oily skin.
It's interesting how the product description completely contradicts the actual experience.
It's a pity to throw it away, and using it is unpleasant...
I have fallen in love with this SPF! It feels extremely comfortable on my face and helps control my combination skin. The pleasant scent adds to the experience.
In my opinion, this is the best SPF. The condition of my facial skin has improved, it is not sticky, and my skin feels simply velvety. I really liked it.
I tried this SPF product, and I have to say that my skin tends to be dry. I applied two finger lengths at first and was initially worried that it looked like a mime's makeup. But after rubbing it in for two minutes, wow, my skin was glowing without a white cast. Keep in mind that it takes about 30 minutes to fully blend in, so make sure to apply it well with your hands for a great effect!
I would rate it a 2 out of 10. It excessively whitens, emphasizing dryness and wrinkles even with all the SPF products from the Misha brand. It is the worst for my oily and dark skin type.
I want to defend this SPF. First of all, titanium dioxide is the second ingredient on the list, so when buying it, you need to understand that the cream will whiten the skin! Well, we can't escape from that. But that's the only downside! I have normal skin type, prone to oiliness, and light skin. The cream applies beautifully as the final step of skincare, it doesn't clump, doesn't leave streaks, and doesn't create a greasy mask. There is no heaviness on the skin! And this satin finish, it's love ❤️ it makes my light skin even lighter, almost porcelain-like! A little powder and my face stays matte all day!
I agree with the ratings below, this is the worst sun protection product I have tried (including mineral ones). It's like applying some white paste on your face, after which your face looks like it has never seen moisturizer in its life, all imperfections are emphasized, the whole face is covered in a white film, and it clogs the pores, it's terrible. I tried it with a moisturizer before, same result. It's impossible to apply a sufficient amount of protection because it ends up looking like you smeared chalk on yourself. I even tried it on my hands, but the product doesn't spread evenly and gets stuck in the smallest crevices.
The only thing I liked is the feel, it really has a satin finish. But it looks awful. I haven't figured out how to use it without wasting it yet.
Regarding physical filters... well, the SPF seems too white on the skin, even after 15 minutes of application, and it leaves a white face like a geisha's... even with cream. Then, the smell after application is not very pleasant - it smells like cashmere, not a nice scent, but more like a smell! Actually, I wanted to order the blue Misha Aqua 50+++. I was very satisfied with it, but it wasn't available, only this brown one. And now I'm struggling, I want to use it up before summer so that I don't have to smell it in the heat.
I liked the cream. It leaves a slightly whitish shade because it has a physical filter. I apply it after moisturizing cream and before CC cream. It doesn't smudge, the finish is nice, not greasy at all. I bought it because I started using acids and retinol. So far, only positive impressions.
Unfortunately, this is the worst sunscreen I have ever had. The white color is very strong and doesn't disappear even after 20 minutes.
Before using this sunscreen, it is necessary to apply a moisturizing cream because it emphasizes any dryness. Even after applying BB cream on top, it still accentuates what isn't there, even though I don't have dry skin at all.
It settles into small wrinkles, even though I only apply it with two fingers because it is too white and thick.
Does it give a matte or velvety skin effect? I haven't noticed anything like that. Yes, it doesn't make my skin shine like other sunscreens, but having a white face and emphasized wrinkles and dryness is not worth it.
I am disappointed because I have never encountered such low-quality products from the Missha brand.
