Very inconvenient. They do not hold up well and are very difficult to use.
Unlike rubber bands and hair clips, these hair ties are disposable. The design is very inconvenient as it doesn't allow for proper placement of the hair because it gets in the way of the lock. Furthermore, on the second try, the piece that goes under the hair snapped off. It's not just the poorly positioned and easily breakable lock that's the issue. I definitely do not recommend these hair ties, especially if you plan on wearing them more than once (considering the price is clearly not for one-time use).
