Apply the poly gel to a prepared nail that has been buffed, degreased, and coated with a non-acid primer and base coat. Unlike regular gel, poly gel does not self-level; it is placed on the nail with a spatula in the form of a ball. Then, use a flat synthetic or natural brush to shape it as desired. Dip the brush in a cleanser to remove the sticky layer. Cure under a UV lamp for 2 minutes or an LED lamp for 30-40 seconds. After minimal filing (proper technique can help avoid this step), apply a top coat to the shaped artificial nail. Poly gel is removed by filing, as it does not dissolve.
