Testing Methodology:
1. Determining the Testing Date
The test can be used as early as 11 days (25 mIU/ml) after the possible conception date or from the first day of a missed period. In most cases, the test provides accurate results within this timeframe. If a negative result is obtained when pregnancy is expected or planned, it is recommended to repeat the test after a few days, as HCG concentration can vary among women, or the date of the last menstrual period might be inaccurately determined.
2. Sample Collection
The urine sample should be collected in a dry and clean container. The first morning urine usually contains the highest concentration of HCG and is therefore the best sample for testing. However, any urine sample can be used for testing, regardless of the time of day.
3. Testing Procedure:
1. Allow the test strip pouch to reach room temperature if it has been exposed to prolonged temperature variations.
2. Tear open the foil pouch along the designated line and remove the test strip.
3. Holding the strip vertically, dip it into the urine up to the marked line (refer to the illustration on the packaging).
Do not immerse the strip beyond the marked line.
4. After 10 seconds, remove the strip and place it on a flat, clean, dry surface that does not absorb moisture.
5. Wait for the colored lines to appear. Interpret the result within 3-5 minutes.
6. Any result obtained after more than 5 minutes should be considered invalid/unreliable.Interpreting Results:
Positive Result:
Two colored lines appear in the result area: one in the control (C) area and one in the test (T) area. This indicates a probable pregnancy. The intensity of the test line color may vary at different stages of pregnancy.
If the visual assessment of the result is difficult or uncertain, the test should be repeated at a later time.Negative Result:
One colored line appears in the control (C) area, and no colored line appears in the test (T) area. This indicates a probable absence of pregnancy.Invalid Result:
No visible lines appear at all, or only one line appears in the test (T) area. In this case, the test should be repeated with a new test strip. If the test line is faint, it is recommended to test again using the first morning urine sample after 48-72 hours.
