The Lunette Reusable Menstrual Cup, Model 1, is an excellent eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to tampons and sanitary pads. Its reusability is not its only advantage. With the menstrual cup, there's no need to put your life on hold, as it enables you to fully embrace life. You can confidently go swimming, jogging, or even to bed. The cup perfectly adapts to your body and moves with you, making it virtually unnoticeable. Inside the vagina, it creates a vacuum and collects fluid without absorbing it, unlike tampons. This prevents the growth of pathogenic bacteria or fungi. Model 1 is suitable for women with light to moderate flow. If you usually change a low or regular absorbency tampon or pad 2–3 times a day, this is your size.

Before first use, sterilize the cup by boiling it in water for 3-5 minutes. Always wash your hands with soap beforehand. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—try a few and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and allow it to expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction sound or a "pop," indicating it has been properly placed. If in doubt, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when correctly positioned. If you feel dents or indentations, the cup has not fully expanded. Gently grip the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to ensure a suction seal is formed. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, a seal has been created and the cup has been successfully inserted!
