The Lunette Reusable Menstrual Cup Model 2 is an excellent eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to tampons and sanitary pads. This product offers numerous benefits, starting with the ability to be reused. However, that's just one of its advantages. With the menstrual cup, you're not required to put your life on hold during your period, as it gives you the freedom to go about your daily activities. You can swim, run, sleep, and do everything you normally do. The cup adapts perfectly to your body and moves with you, while being virtually imperceptible. Inside the vagina, it creates a vacuum and collects the fluid without absorbing it, unlike tampons. This minimizes the risk of fungal infections. The Model 2 is suitable for women with heavy menstrual flow. If you usually need to change a medium or high absorbency tampon or pad every 2–4 hours (or even more frequently), then this size is for you.

Before first use, sterilize the cup in boiling water for 3-5 minutes. Start by thoroughly washing your hands with soap. Fold the cup. There are different folding methods—try a few and choose the one that suits you best. Insert the folded cup and let it expand inside the vagina. After insertion, the cup will open with a characteristic suction sound or a “pop,” indicating it has been correctly positioned. If unsure, feel the base of the cup—it should be round or oval when properly positioned. If you feel any dents or indentations, the cup hasn’t fully opened. Gently grasp the base of the cup (not the stem) and try to rotate it to ensure a seal has formed. Once in place, gently tug on the stem; if you feel resistance, a proper suction seal has been created and the cup is successfully installed!
