Soft, but not very comfortable due to its flatness. The fabric sheds with every use. I would not recommend it.
This brush is very soft, and the bristles do not shed - it remains in good condition even after frequent use. I use it for applying blush - it is perfect for me. I think it would also work well for powder. The brush is flat, not round.
When I took the brush out of the packaging, it had a smell as if a cat had done its business on it. The odor has slightly dissipated, which doesn't affect the makeup application, but the unpleasant sensation remains.

Cons: The bristles shed in clumps and individual hairs if you run your fingers along the edges of the brush - both on the left and right sides, or if you gently pull on the bristles.
