The Tampax menstrual cup looks a bit different from other menstrual cups. In designing the TAMPAX cup, comfort was our guiding principle at every turn. For instance, we discovered that a few millimeters in width and a U-shaped form make a significant difference. And creating a short and rounded stem means you can wear it all day without even feeling it.

1. Preparing the cup before use: Wash with soap and boil for 10-15 minutes before the first use.
2. Hand hygiene before use: Clean hands ensure safe use! Fold the cup into a "C" or "U" shape or like the number "7".
4. Hold the cup with your thumb and index finger, directing the "tail" towards your palm.
5. Insert and twist: Before insertion, find a comfortable position and relax your pelvic muscles. Insert the cup, positioning it lower than a tampon. When the cup unfolds, you may feel slight pressure against the vaginal walls and a "suction" sensation, ensuring it is securely in place and leak-proof. To confirm proper placement, you can gently twist the cup.
6. Removal (after 8-12 hours): Clean your hands. Locate the cup's "tail" and feel for the base. Use two fingers to press the base, reducing the suction against the vaginal walls, and gently pull the cup downward to remove it.
7. Sterilize between cycles.
