Frapin is one of the oldest cognac houses in France, founded way back in 1270. In honor of this date, the brand Frapin has named its perfumed water (miniature). The fragrance was created by Béatrice Cointreau, a descendant of the well-known family. The goal was to present a noble composition enriched with the aromas that accompany the cognac-making process. Flowers and grasses of the vineyards, wooden barrels, the strong scent of damp earth in the wine cellar, and the clay-like smell of the soil should all come to mind when you experience the fragrance of this perfumed water.
Top notes of the pyramid are bright and sweet notes of candied orange peel. Tonka beans, raisins, cocoa, and coffee accentuate the fruity citrus aroma, while nuts and plum add warmth to the scent;
Heart notes are given to the herbal and floral tones of immortelle, grape flowers, linden, pepper, and spices. Their sweet-fresh accords gently transition to the base notes;
Base notes further intensify the rich, somewhat sticky aroma with white honey and vanilla, while Guaiac wood and woody accords add a fresh, deep accent.
