Before coming here to read the reviews, no one would explain how to use it in the stores. After those 8 attempts to "activate" the formula, nothing changed: the mascara clumped my lashes together and left a pile of lumps. Definitely, I would not recommend this mascara to anyone, and I will not be buying it myself anymore.
I also tried it, but I didn't buy it here because I wanted it in a luxurious blue color. It's a pity that they don't have the full range of colors available here. Thank you for the comments where it was indicated how to activate it (twist the brush 8 times and dip it). In short, I liked the mascara, I would give it 4 out of 5 stars. If compared to the classic Hypnose, it falls slightly behind. I'm adding one star for the color, as I dream of a sapphire shade. I'm looking forward to seeing it on Makeupi.
The mascara is amazing. I have very short and light eyelashes. The brush separates each hair, adds length and volume. It dries quickly and doesn't flake. I highly recommend it, rating 5.
This is definitely one of the worst mascaras I have ever had. It started drying out just two weeks after purchasing, and it only applies huge clumps to the lashes. The only positive thing about this mascara is the beautiful tube, but it is also inconvenient as the product starts coming out if you dip the brush more than three times. The brush also gathers a lot of product.
I'm glad I ordered this product without reading any reviews, otherwise I wouldn't have gotten it. I don't understand why there are negative reviews. I really liked this mascara, actually, I liked it a lot. It has an excellent texture, it feels fresh, it applies smoothly, it lasts a long time, it doesn't flake or smudge. I have no complaints. I have tried different Lancome mascaras before. This one is on the same level, definitely not worse and definitely better than Idol. However, I always apply it on a base. The brush is a bit inconvenient, I used to have the Hypnôse Doll one, which had a more tapered shape, but I will get used to it.

There is so much negativity in the reviews. First, it is important to understand that this is a medicinal mascara! There is no such thing as "all-in-one". If you want to know what a "horrible mascara" is, then buy Idol :) It is truly horrible; it flakes, causes irritation, does not provide volume, and even makes lashes fall out after its use! My sister decided to try IDOL. She had enough patience for three days. I thought that maybe the mascara just didn't suit her and started using it myself... Now I am waiting for a discount on Le 8 Hypnose to restore my lashes after using Idol!
This is the disappointment of the year! You won't find such a bad mascara. What happened to Lancome? The mascara doesn't coat the lashes. You need at least three coats just to see any mascara at all. And on top of that, it easily washes off. Is this what the creators were aiming for? For it to wash off? Not to coat, not to volumize, not to last, but simply to wash off?
The worst mascara ever. No amount of dipping the wand into the tube will make it work. It requires multiple layers (10+) just to see any results. Within an hour, it almost completely flakes off. I deeply regret not reading the latest reviews before ordering it.

This mascara is not good at all. I have tried it 8 times and more. It is too dry and thick, and it flakes off easily. It applies decently and does not smudge, but it does not curl the lashes either. Considering the price, I expected a "wow" effect, but this mascara disappoints. I bought another mascara, which is much better. It applies smoothly, lasts longer, and gives a wow effect because it curls the lashes. This particular mascara is not to my liking. Maybe there are other great options available.
